REGISTRANTS WITHOUT BORDERS
ABOUT US
Moving Forward Without Fear
Welcome to Registrants Without Borders (RWB), where we take a realistic view of the registry and how we can live our lives to the fullest despite it, especially when it comes to international travel.
Starting in 1947, California became the first state in the nation to enact a sex offender registration law that required offenders convicted of specified offenses to register with their local law enforcement agency. Then in 1994, the Jacob Wetterling Crimes Against Children and Sexually Violent Offender Registration Act established baseline standards for states to register sex offenders. In 2016, Congress enacted International Megan's Law to Prevent Child Exploitation and Other Sexual Crimes Through Advanced Notification of Traveling Sex Offenders.
Countless organizations have been fighting for decades to abolish the registry, yet it continues to grow more oppressive year after year. These organizations have provided judges, legislators, and senators with overwhelming proof and scientific evidence that the registry does not do anything to protect our communities, yet nothing changes.
The purpose of the registry is not to protect communities, but to offer victims some form of revenge. "If the victim must suffer for the rest of their lives, so should the sex offender." How many times have we heard those words? So, to put it simply, millions of dollars in taxpayer's money are allocated to providing revenge to victims. That is the only purpose the registry serves.
Frankly, the US government will never let go of its precious registry, and it would be career suicide for any politician to push against it. The organizations mentioned know this fact, yet they will gladly take your donations and give you hope in return.
Our organization is taking a different approach: living life to the fullest despite the registry, and successfully relocating to different countries that use science and common sense to dictate their laws.
The USA, as well as other countries, have little to no information on whether a country we plan to visit will deny us entry. The only real way to find the truth is to travel to the said country and see what happens. That keeps registrants from traveling because it could be thousands of dollars you're gambling just to get denied entry and sent back home. Family vacations, weddings, bucket list trips, honeymoons, etc., have all been destroyed because of being denied entry. Our organization systematically sends out qualified individuals to different countries to find out the truth about being denied entry or not. This information can save you thousands of dollars in not wasting your time going to a country that will deny you entry or not going to the country in the correct manner.
